Aunty Phyll was cared for at home by Keith for years before she was admitted to a hospital.1

Rachel had been ill for 11 days. Her parents were William Bryant, a railway station master and Ann Gilbert. The informant was Rachel's son-in-law, G W Palfreyman of 21 Harnett Avenue, Marrickville.1

At the time of her death she had Fanetta 47 yrs, Agnes 41 yrs and Lily 39 yrs living with 3 males deceased.

Marriage*5 December 1818(Bride) Ann Austen; Benenden, Kent, church marriage record (No 60) shows William Bryant married Ann Austen on 5th December 1818 in the Benenden Parish Church by Banns with the consent (confent) of their parents. They were married by Vicar Daniel Boys in the presence (prefence) of William Piper and William Farley who both signed their names as witnesses. William Bryant was a bachelor and Ann Austen was a spinster. At the time of their marriage, neither William nor Ann were able to write as they both signed the Parish (Parifh) Register with their marks.1,3

(The ship 'Westminster" was classified as a barque (bark), weighed 610 tons and was captained by a Mr Mollison. Shipping records state that the ship carried " 280 emigrants, mainly agriculture workers from Kent ".)1 
Immigration*26 June 1838Sydney, NSW, The 'Westminster's log also shows that another Bryant family was on board at the time. Samuel Bryant, a farm labourer, aged 38, his wife Sarah 32, and children - Jane 15, Mary Ann 14, William 9 (died at sea), Rhuben 6, and Samuel 1.4

Burial*26 November 1850NSW, Burial Certificate (No. 266 Vol 110):
William Bryant, who lived in Chippendale, aged 53 years, had been a gardener prior to his death. He was buried on 26th November 1850. The ceremony was performed by the Wesleyan Burials in the Sydney Circuit by Rev T.(Thomas) B. Harris. Probably buried initially in the Devonshire Street Cemetery (now the site of Central Railway Station). All the bodies were exhumed about 1900-1901 and William was most probably reburied at Botany Cemetery.

died of chronic interstitial nephritis which he'd had for 2 years. He was 81 years old and a retired labourer. The Medical Attendant was Alfred C Thomas who saw him 10 days prior to his death. His parents were William Bryant, a station master of the railways and Ann Gilbert. The informant was his son-in-law Arthur Bell (Emily Matilda's husband) who resided at 54 Rawson Avenue, West Kogarah. William was buried on 29th November 1926 at the Congregational Cemetery, Woronora by Motor funerals Limited. The Congregational Minister was H Weir and witnesses were C Carrett and W Brown. William married Matilda Anderson in Rockhampton, QLD at the age of 21 years and at the time of his death, he left Charles 60, Albert E 57, Horace W 56, Herbert E 54, Oscar 50 and Emily M (2nd)44, living with Emily M (1st) deceased.1
